Data files

The number of entries is the number of gene LOCUS entries that a chromosome contains. The chromosome with the smallest number of entries is Chromosome 18 (111 entries) if you want a smaller example for testing purposes. You might also want to check that your code behaves correctly on the largest entry which is Chromosome 6 (6069 entries).

Download the appropriate file for the chromosome allocated to your group. These files contain Genbank records containing human genomic DNA with coding sequences.
